February was an interesting time for me. I set out on a mission to post every other day - that did not happen but I did post more often than I had in the past. That was an interesting experience for me, and provided me with some insight into what it takes to create new, quality content that often. Although I was not able to post as much as I would have liked, I do feel like what I was able to share with you aligned with the theme of the month. If you followed the February blog posts, you will have learned about how you can group the muscles in your body and train them effectively. You now know how you can track progress without using a scale and how to change the way you see your body on a day-to-day basis.
So what is the plan for March? Well I have been doing a lot of thinking and I am really trying to find the best way to continue to bring my readers the very best content. I want the blog to be authentic to who I am, and what I want Riri's Discoveries to be. I am working really hard on making each social platform into it's own piece in the puzzle - each offering its own value through different mediums. I have researched ways to tidy up my instagram and make it not only work well for me as a business tool, but to also offer my followers what they need from me. My facebook will be going live shortly and you will be able to find useful articles, images and videos from me there. Twitter will be a place where you can see a more personal side of me. Lastly, I want my blog to be just that - a blog.
I started the blog to fill the void in my life where school, and writing research papers once was. In school I never put the pressure on myself to write high quality, well researched papers in a matter of a few days, but that's what I expected of myself with this blog. As work gets busier, and I take on new projects, I know that adding the stress of producing a research paper will end up with me producing sub-par blog posts. So from now on I will be writing about my own health and fitness journey from a more personal perspective. I will still include as much as research as possible when it is appropriate to do so, but I am removing that pressure from myself so that (hopefully) I can create better content for you.
Riri's Discoveries is meant to be a place where people who feel lost in all of the health and fitness fads can find genuine experiences and honest opinions, and hopefully start to create their own repertoire of workouts, recipes, and lifestyle habits that make their life more balanced and healthy.
I am really looking forward to the future of this blog and the rest of my endeavours in the online fitness and lifestyle space, and I hope you are too! Feel free to leave me comments, suggestions, and questions on this blog post, or in the contact form on the home page.
Riri's Discoveries blog documents Riri's most recent research, her travel adventures, and her personal fitness journey.
