Long time no see. Well I promise it is for good reason. I have moved to Stockholm, Sweden to become an au pair for a year. I needed a break from the hustle and bustle of full-time personal trainer life, and felt like moving away from Canada for a year could be a great experience as a 25 year old.
I have been having a great time while I am here and although it is tempting to write about all of my fun adventures here on this blog, I want to try and focus this space on my personal training and coaching efforts.
Which brings me to my updates!
As an au pair my time is pretty much my own, with the exception of drop-off and pick-up from school. So I have had a lot of time to work on my own workout program, I have been getting to the gym really regularly, and I am even getting some good workout videos in progress pictures in again. (You can check those out on my instagram or tik tok!)
I have mentioned before that I am using an online training platform to reach the clients that I can no longer train in person. My plan for trainerize is to develop a program that is specific to teaching young women how to lift properly and get them feeling comfortable and strong in the gym.
On top of that I have started to work on a PDF format workout program that would be delivered through this website that would be better suited to working professionals. So if you are low on time, are travelling a lot, and can't always have the same routine, from week to week, then this will be the program for you. I will have more on that later.
Lastly, now that I have been living in Sweden for a month I feel like I have a better handle on my schedule and the time that I have available to me so I will be able to update the blog more regularly, and deliver more content to you on a regular basis.
Make sure you are subscribed to all of my social media channels so you can stay up to date on all of the fitness content, and know when the new programs are launching.
Don't forget to do something good for your body today!
